The All New Get On Your Bike 2009

Start location
Hilton Hotel, Kents Hill, Milton Keynes, Buckingham.

This is a charity cycle event raising money for Cancer Research UK.
There are 2 routes of 15 and a 7 mile, both of which are suitable for cyclists of all ages.

The routes will be signed with marshals to help you along the way and point you in the right direction.
Both routes use the Redways, leisure routes and quiet estate roads around some of the parklands of Milton Keynes.
There will also be a water/fruit stop about half way round the route.

All the fun starts at 9.30. On arrival at the Hotel you will be directed to the events grounds.

Just shoot me photography will be at the event and pictures will be available online

Registration starts from 9.30.

On arrival at the Hilton Hotel you will be directed to the grounds where the event is being held. Please make your way to the Blue Cancer Research UK marquee. Please be sure to go to the marquee signed REGISTERED.

Jim from the Heart Angels will be with us as from 9.30 to welcome you.

Family Entertainment will start at 10.20 approx.

There will be a pre-ride warm up with the girls from the Bannatyne Health Club, which is great fun 10.40 approx.

This is followed by our best event start yet, this will be at 11 o/c approx.

You will be asked to fill a pledge card in at registration. This is so that we can announce a guide to the total amount raised. It will also go into the lucky dip to win the Phil Corley Bike.

The Hilton Hotel will be providing burgers etc. outside the Hotel at cost price for us.

Inside the Hotel, normal rates apply.

This event is not a race. Therefore, you can go at your own pace. Please be aware of the public using the same route. But above all enjoy your ride.

We are endeavouring to obtain water, but please bring some just in case.

We do strongly recommend you wear a cycle helmet.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR

In the past, I have heard many times 'I would love to do the ride, but I am not fit enough’. Well, this year with the support of a past rider Simon, we have our own Bike Boot Camp. Simon at his own expense has set up especially for The All New Get On Your Bike 2009 sessions which begin on Sunday 9th – 30th August at 10 am. Sessions consist of one hour of exercise on and off your bike in order to get you fit and ready for the event. These sessions will be totally FREE as long as you have already signed up for The All New Get On Your Bike 2009 For more information visit www.FitMK.com or call Simon Williams on 07900 880 12.

Supporting the event is
Jim from the heart Angels and local radio station Heart103.

Phil Corley owner of Phil Corley Cycles and one time British National Professional Road Race Champion, is a long time supporter of the event has donated a bike to be won on the day.
